Dress of Sleep
Walking towards the bare sunrays
I look at the skies in a mournful light,
Glowing and shading their flickering ways
As goin' inside the plans of night;
Driftin' away under pearly skilines
My vision swallows the scent of a dream,
Who bathes my face in silver moonshines
As paintin' their halo in oneiric stream;
Along the shore of a sea of leaves
Who move so gently in the curve of the air
I watch my soul bleed out his grieves
In black rainflowers who grew up in there;
Below the sunrise in his reddish weep,
I dress myself in the veil of sleep;
I look at the skies in a mournful light,
Glowing and shading their flickering ways
As goin' inside the plans of night;
Driftin' away under pearly skilines
My vision swallows the scent of a dream,
Who bathes my face in silver moonshines
As paintin' their halo in oneiric stream;
Along the shore of a sea of leaves
Who move so gently in the curve of the air
I watch my soul bleed out his grieves
In black rainflowers who grew up in there;
Below the sunrise in his reddish weep,
I dress myself in the veil of sleep;
